Still no love from Microsoft

I still haven't received my Xbox 360 back from the repair center. Harrumph.

Thank god for the Wii, DS, PS3, and PSP. I've been keeping myself busy with games of Wii Sports and Puzzle Quest for now, though I really need to finish Orange Box on my borrowed Xbox. I just can't bring myself to play it too much because, well, it's not mine! I know that makes no logical sense, but it's just how I roll. It's why I hated checking out books or CD's from the library back in the day. Maybe it's out of a twisted sense of feeling that if it's not mine, then I haven't truly earned the right to use the item. Like I said, I know it's illogical behavior.

I've been really digging the new Remote Play feature on the PSP and PS3. Being able to boot up and watch any movie stored on my PS3 using my PSP from anywhere in the world is straight up science fiction becoming reality... assuming you have a good wireless internet signal of course. The latest PS3 2.0 firmware introduced some nasty bugs with it's remote start/shutdown that are very annoying, to the point where it can't display streaming video, and if you remotely shutdown the system from the PSP, you can't remotely start it back up again. It's super lame that Sony didn't catch or didn't care about these blatant bugs in their software, but when it does work, it's a site to behold. I'm sure they will fix it in the next firmware patch or two.
